Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy matters.
Personal data collected through forms on this site (for example when you sign up for a retreat, subscribe to the newsletter, or contact us) is used exclusively for internal purposes: to answer your requests, send updates, or share information related to retreats, book recommendations, or blog posts.
We will never share, sell, or transfer your data to third parties.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978 (amended in 2004), you have the right to access, modify, and rectify your personal data. To exercise this right, simply email us at hello.woman.official@gmail.com .

Cookies
This site uses cookies to make browsing smoother and to collect anonymous visitor statistics (via Google Analytics). These help us improve your experience when exploring retreat information, blog posts, or recommended resources.
If you prefer not to allow cookies, you can disable them at any time through your browser settings.
Privacy policy
Who we are
Our website address is: https://www.hello-woman-retreat.com
This site shares information about retreats, recommendations, and blog posts. Protecting your privacy is very important to us, and this policy explains how we handle your data.

Retreat participation
When you register for a retreat, you may be asked to provide personal information (such as contact details, dietary needs, or other preferences). This information is used solely for organizational purposes and is never shared with third parties outside of what is strictly necessary to run the retreat (for example, the hosting venue if meals or accommodations require it).
What you choose to share personally during a retreat — whether in group activities, workshops, or conversations — is treated as private and confidential. We are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment.
Please note that each participant remains fully responsible for their own well-being, health, and safety during the retreat. Neither the teachers nor the hosting venue provide medical advice, nor are they responsible for safety, travel arrangements, or health/accident insurance. We strongly recommend that you have appropriate personal insurance coverage before attending.

Comments
When you leave a comment on the site, the data entered in the comment form, as well as your IP address and browser information, are collected to help us detect spam and keep the space respectful.
An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
After your comment is approved, your profile picture (if available) may appear publicly next to your comment.

Cookies
Cookies are used to make your browsing experience smoother. For example:
-
If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies so you don’t have to re-enter them later. These cookies last one year.
-
When you log in, temporary cookies are used to check if your browser accepts cookies. Login cookies last for two days, screen preference cookies for one year, and if you check “Remember me,” your login will remain active for two weeks.
-
Editing or publishing an article will store an additional cookie (non-personal), which simply indicates the ID of the article you just edited.
You can disable cookies at any time via your browser settings.

Embedded content from other sites
Blog articles may include embedded content (videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you visited the other website directly.
These external sites may collect data about you, use cookies, or track your interactions — especially if you are logged into an account on those sites (e.g., YouTube, Instagram).

Use and sharing of your personal data
We never sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Data is only used to manage your interactions with the site (comments, subscriptions, or contact requests).

Data retention
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely, so we can recognize and automatically approve follow-up comments.

Your rights over your data
If you have an account or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided.
You can also request the deletion of your personal data. Please note that this does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

Data checks
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
